From the family, Amaryllidaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Spider Lily, Surprise Lily, Hurricane Lily, Resurrection Lily, Magic Lily, Naked Ladies.

Seed collected from a SPECIFIC selection. The image is only representative of the MOTHER parent. One of the spring foliage Lycoris. A wonderful surprise of yellow ruffled flowers borne on medium or tall flower stalks in late summer to early autumn. Ht. 24-30 inches. Hardy in zones 5, 6, 7, 8.

Seed collected from ONE Lycoris chinensis currently selected for observation and breeding. The MOTHER parent is pictured. These are Open Pollinated seed, meaning only the mother genus is clearly known. Any number of other species or varieties may have contributed pollen. Each seedling will be unique and not exactly like the mother parent, even if resulting from self-pollination.
