      From the family, Hypoxidaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Red Star, Rosy Posy.
    Flowers palest pink-lilac, petals spreading above the tube, about 1 1/8 inches in diameter. Leaves erect, strap-shaped, about 3 inches long, very hairy. Produces naturally small rhizomes. Spring-flowering. Ht. 2-3 inches.
