Oxalis rubra (floribunda)

From the family, Oxalidaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Lucky Clover, Iron Cross Plant, Scurvy Grass, Sorrel.

Stem carrying 6 to 12 flowers, pink or rose with darker veins. Leaflets 3/4 inch long, smooth above, hairy underneath. They have blackish spots and ciliate margin. Root tuberous, cylindric with brownish scales. Summer-flowering. Hardy. Ht. 4-8 inches.
