From the family, Amaryllidaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Crape Flower, Japanese Spider Lily.

Flowers up to 12, pure white, petals much recurved, with the edges attractively wrinkled. Leaves with the flowers, strap-shaped, 8-20 inches long. Semi-hardy. Ht. 16-28 inches.
