Liliaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Lily.
Flowers 1 to 5, funnel-shaped at first, later expanding. Segments spreading to 6 3/4 inches in diameter, reflexed. Pale greenish-yellow, inside deep red, darkening towards the throat. Stoloniferous. Not unlike other plants from lower parts of the Himalayas it is hardy, provided kept rather dry in autumn and winter. Ht. 48 inches.
