Collected in C. Asia, Turkmenistan, Kopet-Dagh Range. The original stock described by Dr Boris Fedtschenko in 1910. Large orange-scarlet flowers, base black with broad yellow margin. Segments with pointed tips, outer tepals slightly reflexed; 9 x 2 inches.
