Tulipa (Div XV) orphanidea 'Flava'

From the family, Liliaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Tulip Species.

This variety appeared in an imported stock of Galanthus elwesii, from Western Turkey at VT. It is a natural variant within the T. orphanidea complex. Flowers slender, pale yellow, tinged orange and green on the exterior. Segments slightly deflexed. Ht. 12 inches.
