From gardens. Well-known blue Squill from Western Asia. Flowers 5 to 9 in loose racemes, pendent. Anthers and pollen grey-blue. Leaves glaucous. Excellent for naturalizing in full sun or semi-shade. AGM. Ht. 4-6 inches.
