Hyacinthaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Grape Hyacinth.
Raised by A.L. van Bentem. Produces several strong stems with flowers in large bizarre, broccoli-like racemes, up to 2 3/4 inches across. Flowers blue at first, gradually turning to purplish-blue and purplish-green, finally fading to yellowish-green.
