Coll. PJC.277 in Southern France: Dept. Var, growing in cracks of limestone outcrops, pockets of humus, in places where the soil never dries out completely. Flowers white, mostly solitary, rarely 2 or 3 to a stem. Foliage filiform, appearing in autumn. AGM. Ht. 2.75-4.75 inches.
