Fritillaria persica 'Senköy'

From the family, Liliaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Fritillary.

Coll. by A. A. in S. Turkey: Prov. Antakya, Amanus Range, near village of Senköy. In this region F. libanotica (Boiss.) Bak. was found. Flowers like in F. persica, plum-colored with bloom. Foliage erecto-patent (at 45º angle), twisted, half as wide as in typical F. persica. Ht. 28-40 inches.
