Coll. LP.7241 in S. E. Turkey: Prov. Bitlis, 1650 m alt., 1972. A rare and choice species which prefers a cool, moist soil, rich in humus and light shade. Flowers solitary, pale orange-brown with a netted yellow interior. Tepals 5/8-7/8 inch long. Produces naturally only small bulbs and many bulblets. Ht. 2-4 inches.
