From gardens. A clone selected in California from E. californicum Purdy. In 1905 Purdy offered plants in his catalogue, using the name 'White Beauty'. Flowers pure white with yellow center, each petal marked with brown basal spots. Leaves beautifully marbled. AGM. Ht. 6-8 inches.
