Crocus (Autumn) speciosus 'Albus'

From the family, Iridaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Fall Crocus.

Collected originally in the Eastern Transcaucasus, near Shemakha at the beginning of the 20th century. Flowers large, pure white with yellow throat. Stigma orange, much divided. Ht. 4-5 inches.
