From the family, Iridaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Snow Crocus.

Raised by G. H. Hageman. Flowers outside lobelia-blue, the interior a shade lighter, with a yellowish basal blotch. Flowering 'mid season' for C. chrysanthus cultivars, in Holland: AGM. Ht. 3-4 inches.
