Coll. by E. J. H. in Turkey: Prov. Antalya, alt. 1250 m, 1993. A beauty with delightful pinkish-carmine flowers, strongly checkered. They open out widely, 2-4 inches across, the segments up to 2 3/8 inches long. Anthers deep purple. Leaves vernal, glaucous, undulate at margins, up to 6 inches long and 3/4-1 3/16 inches wide. Semi-hardy. Ht. 4-5 inches.
