From the family, Hyacinthaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Glory of the Snow.

From gardens. Flowers 2 to 4, being bright blue entirely, thus lacking the characteristic white eye. An old stock and a good garden plant, almost lost to cultivation. Ht. 4-8 inches.
