Coll. RKM.8238 in C. Asia: Rep. Tadzhikistan, Seravschan Range, near Shing village, growing in deep shade, alt. 1600 m, 1982. Very distinct clone: earliest to flower of A. jesdianum, very dense, deep purple umbels. Bulbs yellow, not white. Ht. 28-32 inches.
