From gardens. Small umbel with 5 to 18 flowers, campanulate, pendulous. Tepals violet-blue to purple. Leaves linear, tufted, sheathing the base of stem. Bulbs ovoid, clustered on a short rhizome. Ht. 4-6 inches.
