From gardens. A fine clone with bright yellow flowers, carmine-red on the exterior, which has been in cultivation here for several decades. Wild populations however are variable in color, including pure red, orange and yellow forms. Segments 6 x 3/4 inch. Outer bulb tunics very tough, like leather. AGM.
