From the family, Liliaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Tulip Species.

Hybrid raised at IVT between T. hageri and T. aucheriana. Intr. by W. van Lierop & Sons, 1991. Exterior: outer tepals blood red, inner tepals spanish orange with blood red mivein. Base green. Inside burnt orange with currant-red top. Center black bordered with aureolin rim. Pollen greyish yellow. Ht. 8 inches.
