From gardens. Not known as a wild plant. Flowers 3 to 6, in a loose raceme, mauve-blue. Midrib deeper blue. Diameter of flowers 7/16-11/16 inch. Leaves strap-shaped, ascending, emerging before flowers, tinged red near base. Ht. 2-4 inches.
