Hyacinthaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Pregnant Onion, Snake Flower, Star-of-Bethlehem.
Coll. J. R. in Azerbaidjan: Talysh Range, occurring on grassy slopes in full sun, 1500 m alt., 1987. Flowers 15 to 25 in a long-pedicelled raceme, snow-white, with dark green band on reverse. Foliage slender, to 6 inches long. It does not make bulblets. A charming dwarf species, well worth having. Ht. 2.25-4 inches.
