Amaryllidaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Daffodil, Jonquil.
(Section Bulbocodium) From gardens. Flower pale straw- to deep primrose. Corona widely expanded, 1-1.5 inches diameter, with frilled margin. Most readily distinguished from N. bulbocodium by the much exserted anthers, overtopped by the style. Leaves filiform, flexuous, less than 1/16 inch wide, to 6.75 inches long.
