Amaryllidaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Daffodil, Jonquil.
(syn. N. eugeniae Casas) From gardens. Flowers ascending, 2-3 inches diameter. Petals straw-colored with a contrasting much darker yellow trumpet. Tube yellow. Corona first 1/2 inch wide, later apex expanding to 1 3/8 inches, deeply notched at the margin. Leaves erect, bluish green, striate, to 3/8 inch wide. Stem very short when the flowers opens, 2-4 3/8 inches, drawing much attention, due to the size of the flower.
