Amaryllidaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Loddon Lily, Snowflake.
From gardens. Flowers 2 to 4, vernal, white, 9/16-13/16 inch long. Easily distinguished from other species by the long pedicel and by having two spathes rather than one. Leaves 2 to 3, filiform, appearing with the flowers in spring. Rather a delicate plant, best in alpine house. Ht. 6-10 inches.
