From gardens. Flowers green-yellow, fading to dull red. Perianth cylindrical, erect. Outer segments with green apical swelling. Inner segments protruding. Leaves 1 or 2, lanceolate, to 15 x 1.25 inches, glaucous. Foliage can be heavily spotted above, margins usually undulate. Winter-flowering. Ht. 6-8 inches.
