Iris histrioides 'Angel's Tears'

From the family, Iridaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Flag, Sword Lily.

(syn. I. h. 'Angel's Eye') Raised by Walter Blom & Son, as a selection from I. histrioides (G.F.Wils.) S. Arn.var. major Grey. Flowers paler than the latter, standards french-blue, falls gentian-blue. Honey marks veined bluish on white ground with a small yellow vein as a bonus. Ht. 3-4 inches.
