From the family, Iridaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Flag, Sword Lily.

Hybrid between I. histrioidesvar. major and I. winogradowii, raised by H. F. D Elder. Flowers blue with subtle infusion of yellow-green, spotted blue on the falls. Crest yellow. Ht. 3.25-4.75 inches.
