From the family, Liliaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Fritillary.

Also known as F. p. 'Adiyaman'. Originally from Central Turkey, near Adiyaman. Raceme sturdy with up to 20 fine, plum-colored, pendant flowers of solid texture. Tepals 9/16-13/16 inch. Best in full sun. Ht. 28-40 inches.
