From gardens. Flowers large, broadly campanulate, straw-yellow to pale-yellow, with delicate green veining. Tepals 1 3/8-1 3/4 inches long. Leaves almost alternate, 1.5 inches wide, glaucous. Best in cool soil and partial shade. Often the stems develop obliquely for frost protection. AGM. Ht. 10-18 inches.
