Coll. H.3660 in Iran: Prov. Gonbad, growing at 1100-1500 m alt., 01.05.1976. Flowers broadly campanulate, checkered brown over green. Tepals 1 3/16-1 9/16 inches long. Foliage glossy green, appearing early (beware of slugs). Produces bulblets. Prefers a cool and sheltered position. Ht. 8-12 inches.
