Coll. JMH.8215 in Southern France: Dept. Var, growing in mixed deciduous forest at 800-900 m alt., 1982. Flowers bright violet to lavender and white, but always with the distinct purple feathering and stripes on the exterior and interior of both inner and outer segments. Outer segments with a varying silvery-grey buff. Ht. 2-3 inches.
