Selected by E. A. B. in 1923, described and illustrated by him in his 'Handbook of Crocus and Colchicum' as "The best white and orange spring crocus I know". Flowers very large, globular, pure white with a large orange center and base and with deep orange stigmata, making a wonderfully fine contrast. AGM. Ht. 2-3 inches.
