Received by John M. C. Hoog from E. A. Bowles. This is the pure white, large flowered clone with bright scarlet stigmata and yellow anthers as described in his "Handbook of Crocus and Colchicum". An excellent hardy clone, very resistant to icy weather, while other stocks often die out in cultivation. Produces large corms. Ht. 2-3.25 inches.
