Crocus (Spring) chrysanthus 'Prinses Beatrix'

From the family, Iridaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Snow Crocus.

Raised by G. H. Hageman. Outer perianth segments hyacinth (91A) to lobelia-blue (91C). They have a darker violet-blue (93C) blotch towards the base with darker upward feathers. Below it is a golden-yellow basal blotch. Inside of flowers a clear lobelia-blue (91C). Center yellow. Very much like 'Blue Pearl' with rather more rounded segments. 'Prinses Beatrix' may be the better one. Ht. 3-4 inches.
