Crocus (Spring) chrysanthus 'Dorothy'

From the family, Iridaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Snow Crocus.

Raised by Messrs Barr & Sons. Flowers buttercup-yellow (15A), with bronze stripes (near 79B) on the outside. More elegant than 'Fuscotinctus', it is larger and the feathering is more suffused. Ht. 3-4 inches.
