From the family, Iridaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Snow Crocus.

From gardens. A clone grown for many years in Dutch nurseries. Very free-flowering form. Inside pure white with a yellow center. Outside chrome-yellow to white with 3-5 distinct plum-purple (79A) stripes on the exterior. Feathers as long as the segment and continuing down the flower tube. Styles bright orange. Ht. 3-4 inches.
