Iridaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Fall Crocus.
Coll. by Pras. in NW Rumania, in oak forest at approx. 700 m alt., 1973 and grown on from seed. Flowers large, lilac to purple, the outer segments about 11/2 times as long and as wide as the inner ones. Stigmata finely divided, lilac to purple. AGM. Ht. 4-8 inches.
