Arisaema jacquemontii

From the family, Araceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Cobra Lily, Jack-in-the-Pulpit.

Spathe 4-6 inches long with a 3-4 inches upward stretching appendix, bright green with faint white longitudinal lines. The flower is well above the semi-digitate leaves and can seem to be flowering forever, in fact the fruits are formed while the spathe remains unchanged from the outside! It does make larger tubers than other forms of A. jacquemontii. Best overwintered dry and frost-free. Ht. 24-32 inches.
