Collected by J. R. in Republic of Azerbaidjan, Talysh Range, in the shade of an overhanging rock, covered by a thick matt of moss, at 1700 m alt., 1987. Very attractive flowering plant, i.e. without any replacement of flowers by bulblets. Flowers fairly large, white, 3/8 inch across, 5-15 in an elegant, drooping umbel. Leaves as for the above. Prefers a partly shaded (sheltered) position. Ht. 8-12 inches.
