Alliaceae, having common name(s) associated with the genus; Flowering Garlic, Onion.
(syn. A. multibulbosum Jacq.) From gardens. Enjoys a warm position and requires a good summer rest. Flowers in dense umbels, pale lilac or white with greenish midveins. The ovaries are black, hence the name. Ht. 16-36 inches.
